Map

A map of the world isn't just something that's pretty to look at (although it should hopefully be that too!)
It's a way of conveying not only the enormity of the world, but also the connectedness of the people on it.
It might make you think holistically, it might make you aware that we're all part of one big community.
It might make you want to travel, or it might make you glad to be at home.
It might help you understand where your family roots are.
It might make you realise that even though it's a long way to the shop if you wanna sausage roll (to paraphrase AC/DC), the people of Aotearoa New Zealand live on a pretty small island in one corner of the world and there's a lot more to see out there.
You can use those computery things to explore the world virtually, or you could spend virtually your whole life exporing the world in person.
